On The Corner

It’s time to leave

You’ve got to go

This wall is stopping

The bullets now, but

The longer you stay

Is more of a chance

For them to flank.

Focus man, focus!

Pick the lull in between

Shots; Cover eyed-out

Order the charge

Grip the rifle tight

And run – by God if

It’s going to be now,

Make my death quick

And clean. ‘Cuz when the

Bullets fly, I only live

One corner to the next.
